THE SOUTH INDIAN EDUCATION SOCIETY 9 SIES); the apex body was registered in year 1932 as a charitable trust. The primary objective of SIES is “to promote the advancement of education in all its aspects” and for the purpose “to establish conduct, control and manage schools, colleges and other academic institutions”.

Nearly seventy years ago, this SIES stared with no more than 6 students on its roll, since then, the SIES has gained enormously in strength and legitimately proud of its achievements in the field of education. Today, the SIES is a name to be reckoned with on the educational map of Mumbai. The SIES, however, owes its success and achievements to the foresight, wisdom, dedication, devotion and unimpeachable loyalty of its founder members and all others who were or have been associated with it at some time or the other in glorious onward march.

Grown in to a large family, the SIES now compromises of several established institutions.

Each academic year, on an average, the total no of students in all the various SIES institutions is over 15000. It is indeed a matter of profound gratification that today many past student s of SIES institutions are holding prominent position in government, industry and trade and even those who are holding less prominent positions , by dint of their hard work , honesty and sincerity to their institutions , have enhanced the prestige of SIES.

In 2010, the SIES college of Arts, Science and commerce, celebrated its GOLDEN JUBILEE.

In its pursuit of continually rendering service to the society in the fields of education, the SIES looks forward for help assistance and support from the Government , industry, trade and the public.
